Onions, peppers, and herbs are all doing well. I'm loving seeing the garden progress!

Radishes in the foreground as of April 27th. We're now harvesting everyday. Carrots to the right of the radishes and cauliflower in the background that I think I put out too late 'cause it's just hanging out not livin' or dyin.'

The asparagus has gotten so tall we've had to raise the grids for support. We put these in the same day as the strawberries and they were one-year-old roots. They won't mature until year three. These are also placed four per square foot. Love asparagus!

We first planted the strawberries (four per square) March 18th, variety is 'Early Glow,' and now all fifty plants have blossoms and baby strawberries. Today is May 8th so I hope we'll be ripening soon...yummy!

The following photos were taken on April 27th. So far we have corn, beans, yellow and zucchini squash, tomatoes, okra, peppers, herbs, onions, strawberries, mums, asparagus, pansies, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, and carrots. So far, so good!

Have really gotten into "square-foot-gardening" this spring and am having a blast! My husband and I built nine 4'X4' boxes in early March using old decking boards. We built the grids from spare 2x4's and placed them on top of the boxes giving us 16 square feet per box in which to plant our vegetables and flowers.
